(2) Drivers under contract to support project activities within
the Single Project Implementation Unit (SPIU).

service delivery. As a Driver within the SPIU, you will play a key role in
ensuring smooth mobility, secure logistics, and efficient transport services
for project staff.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the SPIU Coordinator, the Driver will be
responsible for the following:
1. Transporting Staff on Official Duty
· Provide
safe, timely, and efficient transport to staff attending fieldwork, meetings,
and other official assignments.
· Ensure
professionalism, courtesy, and punctuality at all times.
2. Handling External Courier Services
· Dispatch
and deliver MINECOFIN’s external courier documents and packages with
confidentiality and accountability.
· Ensure
timely and accurate deliveries.
3. Management & Maintenance of Project Vehicles
· Conduct
daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
· Schedule
and follow up on routine maintenance and repairs.
· Ensure
vehicles are always in clean, safe, and optimal condition.
4. Vehicle Logbook Management
· Maintain
an accurate and updated logbook of all vehicle movements.
· Record
mileage, destinations, fuel consumption, and trip details.
· Ensure
transparency and accountability in vehicle use.
5. Accident Reporting & Safety Compliance
· Immediately
report any accident involving the vehicle.
· Follow
safety procedures and assist in necessary documentation.
· Promote
and practice safe driving at all times.
6. Vehicle Licensing & Registration Management
· Ensure
all vehicles have valid licenses, insurance, and registration documents.
· Track
renewal deadlines to maintain compliance with national road regulations.
Required Qualifications
You may qualify for this position through one of the following pathways:
✔ Option 1:
· Driving
License Category B or D
· No
prior experience required (but professionalism is essential)
✔ Option 2:
· A2
Certificate + Valid Driving License
· At
least 2 years of relevant driving experience
· Good
professional driving record.
✔ Option 3:
· Valid
Driving License (B or D)
· Minimum
5 years of proven driving experience
· Strong
track record and high discipline.
